New maxysis possible issues?

I was just about to order a maxisys basic version but after reading these forums im very hesitant.Whats up with this software update removing issues deal?2. out of the box will i still have the old software on that unit and if so how difficult is backing it up im not familiar with the android os's specifically on these ?3. If i do have the old hardware should I even update the unit or should i just keep it as isSeems like crucial functions go missing on updates and i just dont wanna be put in a bad spot here -

I just got my pro and had to update it.
I don't think you will loose anything with an update.
All things that went missing is gone and they are only fine tuning what's left.
It is still a very powerfull tool once you get the hang of it.
Most people only "scream" when there is a problem and say nothing when all is good...
